Available Compounds & Sizes

Nitrile (Buna-N)

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial & Metric
  • Hardness: 70 & 90 (imperial), 40-90 (metric)
  • Features: Excellent resistance to fuels and oil, strong tensile strength, abrasion and water resistance.
  • Limitations: Poor resistance to weather and ozone
  • Temperature Range: -65°C to 125°C

Fluorocarbon (FMK/Viton)

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial & Metric
  • Hardness: 70 & 90 (imperial), 65-90 (Metric)
  • Features: Outstanding heat and chemical resistance, excellent sealing in oil and gas environments
  • Limitations: Reduced performance at very low temperatures.
  • Temperature Range: -25°C to 200°C

Silicone (FDA Approved)

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial & Metric
  • Hardness: 40-80
  • Features: Excellent weathering and chemical resistance, non-toxic, suitable for medical, food-grade, and high-heat uses
  • Limitations: Poor tear and abrasions resistance, high gas permeability
  • Temperature Range: -65°C to 225°C

Neoprene (Polychloroprene)

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial
  • Hardness: 60 & 70
  • Features: Good resistance to weathering, aging, and moderate oil exposure. Ideal for outdoor and automotive applications
  • Limitations: Good resistance to weathering, ageing, and moderate oil exposure. ideal for outdoor and automotive applications
  • Temperature Range: Good high & low temperature stability

Ethylene Propylene (EPDM)

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial & Metric
  • Hardness: 55-90
  • Features: Excellent resistance to steam, water, ozone, acids, and alkalise. Perfect for heating, chemical plants, and outdoor use.
  • Limitations: Poor resistence to petroleum-based fluids
  • Temperature Range: -65°C to 225°C

Polyurethane

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial
  • Hardness: 70 & 95
  • Features: Exceptional wear and abrasion resistance, great tensile strength, ideal for hydraulic applications
  • Limitations: Limited temperature range and less effective in humid environments.
  • Temperature Range: -65°C to 225°C

Fluorosilicone

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial
  • Hardness: 70 & 80
  • Features: Combines silicone’s temperature range with resistance to petroleum fluids
  • Limitations: low tensile strength, poor abrasion resistance

PTFE (Teflon) O-rings

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial & Metric
  • Features: Chemically resistant to nearly everything, excellent low friction, high heat tolerance (up to 300°C)
  • Limitations: Prone to cold flow under pressure

Encapsulated O-rings (FEP/ Teflon Encap)

  • Core: Viton or Silicone
  • Jacket: Seamless Teflon
  • Features: Ideal for harsh chemical or extreme temperature environments. Provides memory and avoids “cold flow” issues seen in PTFE
  • Limitations: less resilient for dynamic high-speed sealing

Quad Rings

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial
  • Hardness: 70 & 80
  • Features: Four-lobed design for better sealing, suitable for both static and dynamic applications

Back-up Rings

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial
  • Hardness: 90
  • Features: Improve O-ring pressure resistance and prevent extrusion. Available in solid, split, or spiral PTFE

Perfluoro Elastomers FFKM

  • Sizes: Standard Imperial
  • Hardness: 80
  • Features: Excellent resistance to steam, amines, caustics, and glycol-based fluids.
  • Temperature Range: -15°C to 230/260°C
